Auburn Doubledays starter Morton Lyles led his team to victory over the Lowell Spinners, 7-0. The right-hander was locked-in. The win makes Auburn 10-24, nothing to write home about.

Lyles, who was born in Los Angeles, California, threw 99 pitches over 7 innings, while allowing no runs.

"Morton did a tremendous job," said Auburn manager Carlos Renteria.
