Doubledays 3-0 Losers to Lowell
|
Lowell Spinners starter Jaxon Patterson turned in an exceptional performance against the Auburn Doubledays at Edward A. LeLacheur Park, resulting in a Lowell win, 3-0. Yoris Samora earned the save for Lowell, his 6th. The Spinners move to 8-24 with the win, while the Doubledays drop to 9-23.
The Spinners got a big at-bat from second baseman Paul Anderson. For the game, Anderson was 3 for 4 with 2 doubles. In the bottom of the first, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a run-scoring double. His 4th double of the season gave Lowell a 1-0 lead.
"I like to keep things lively in the clubhouse," said Anderson. "Believe me, it's much easier after a win."
