Despite a great performance by Tri-City first baseman Jaxon Ucci, the Auburn Doubledays defeated the ValleyCats by the score of 11-9 at Falcon Park. Ucci was 3-5 with a home run and a triple. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. The Doubledays win now puts them at 19-12.

Case Kaiser, who is tied for 7th in the NYP with a .450 on-base percentage, chipped in a 3-run home run for Auburn in the bottom of the eighth. For the game, the right fielder had 2 hits in 5 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 3 RBI.

"It wasn't a pretty victory," said Kaiser, "but we got it done."
