Led by 20-year-old Fredy Hernández, the Oil City Oilers knocked off the Tri-City ValleyCats, 5-3. Hernández went 2-4 with a home run, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once for the Oilers. Cooper Wilson stitched up the save, his 5th.

Early in the game, Hernández had a 3-run home run for Oil City. It was his 3rd home run of the season and put the Oilers on top, 5-2.

"We had situations where we should have got some runs in, but we didn't get the runs in," said losing manager Jim Kleeman.

Yes, it was a win for Oil City; but their 9-25 mark is nothing to crow about.
