Oilers Losing Streak at 7 After Extra-Inning Loss to ValleyCats
Tri-City beat Oil City at The Oil Field, eking out a 5-4 win in 12 innings. The win was due in large part to left fielder Christian Robichaux. He was 1 for 4 with a home run and 2 walks, while scoring 2 times. P.J. Brown snagged the win in relief. The right-hander allowed no runs on no hits over 2 innings. He's now 1-0 on the season. Owen Dutter wrapped it up, recording his 3rd save.

The game was at a stalemate until third baseman Yordis Adames came to bat in the top of the 12th. Facing Oil City pitcher David Livingston, he hit a 2-2 fastball for a run-scoring single. It was a game-changer, putting Tri-City on top, 5-4.

"Our team found a way to get it done," said Adames.

The win makes Tri-City 15-17.
