Clutch Hitting Delivers Win for Spikes
The home team gave their fans plenty to cheer about, with a thrilling walk-off win.

The State College Spikes beat the Yakima Valley Pippins, 4-3, at Bowman Field. The Spikes got a fine performance from catcher Minnie Campbell, who was 3 for 4 with 3 singles and 2 walks. The winner was State College reliever Lowell Pimentel, now 1-1. The loser was Ryan Medearis.

The Spikes procured the win, in large part because of left fielder Adriel Power. In the bottom of the tenth, he produced the game-winning run-scoring single.

"We busted our humps out there," said Power.

State College's winning streak has reached 4 games.
