Hawks Topple Red Wings, 6-2
|
Eleazar Cuadrado had a good game, but he could not keep the Hamilton Red Wings from falling, 6-2, to the Boise Hawks at Red Wings Ballpark. The Hamilton third baseman went 2-3 with a home run and a double, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once in the loss. The Hawks saw their win-loss record go to 6-9. At the same time, the Red Wings fell to 3-12.
An impactful at-bat came in the top of the third inning. With the bases loaded, the batter, Jason Look, reached on an error by the right fielder, driving in 1 run. It made the score 1-0, Boise, and helped them go on to win.
"We were the better team today. Maybe that won't be the case next game, but we'll enjoy it for now," Look told the Boise Chronicle.
