The Jamestown Jammers, despite a fine performance by Lowell pitcher Randy Mohs, grabbed a 3-1 win at Jammers Ballpark. Mohs allowed 1 run over 6 innings. Jesús Córdova, credited with the win in relief, is now 1-1. He allowed no runs on no hits in 2.2 innings. Lowell has now lost 6 in a row.

The decisive blow was delivered by Scott Harper in the bottom of the ninth when he hit a 2-run home run off 21-year old right-handed pitcher Sawyer Godfrey to win the game for Jamestown. The home crowd went nuts.

"This place was jumping at the end," Harper said.
