Tigers Tag Doubledays with 6-0 Loss
|
Stephen Tuten was masterful in helping the Connecticut Tigers take down the Auburn Doubledays, 6-0. Sam Garnsey got the save, the 1st for him this season. The Tigers, with only their 3rd win in 14 games, have not had much to write home about in 2052.
Connecticut relied on the hitting of Luca Harrison to pick up the win. The designated hitter ripped a 2-run triple in the top of the third inning to put the Tigers on top, 4-0. For the game, Harrison had 1 triple and 1 single in 4 at-bats.
"We were able to get some things going offensively," said Harrison.
