Auburn Doubledays pitcher Liam Demas was all business, helping his team muzzle the Hamilton Red Wings, 6-1. The Doubledays are now 10-14, while the Red Wings fall to 13-11.

The Doubledays benefited from a costly error in the top of the seventh. With Isaiah Germany at bat and Auburn leading 1-0, the Hamilton miscue allowed Auburn to plate 1 and take the lead, 2-0.

Auburn manager Carlos Renteria commended his team for "banging out a nice win."
