The Lowell Spinners beat the Brooklyn Cyclones, 6-5, at MCU Park. Lowell designated hitter Danuel McNeil had an outstanding performance. He went 2-4 with a home run and a double. He drove in 5 runs and scored once. Bohan Hardin picked up the win, improving his season record to 3-1. He struck out 9 in 6.1 innings. The 5th-place Spinners lifted their record to 11-14.

Early in the game, McNeil had a 3-run home run for Lowell. It was his 6th home run of the season and put the Spinners on top, 3-0.

"We took advantage of our opportunities," McNeil told the Lowell Chronicle. "It's as simple as that."
