Larrie Timberman left his imprint on the 8-3 Niagara Falls win against the Staten Island Pizza Rats. Timberman, who is tied for 8th in the NYP in RBI with 17, went 3-5 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 times and drove in 2. Niagara Falls occupies 5th place in the New York-Penn League North Division at 10-16.
Kirby Johnson helped out the Niagara Falls cause in the bottom of the sixth inning with a run-scoring walk. For the game, the shortstop was 1-3 with a walk and was hit by a pitch.
"We take it day by day here," said Timberman, "and today was a good one for us."
