Getting offensive support from Holden Decot, the Vermont Lake Monsters topped the Aberdeen Ironbirds, 16-10. Decot went 4 for 6 with a home run, a double, and 2 singles. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2 for the Lake Monsters. The winner in relief was Virgil Ulmer. The left-hander allowed 3 runs on 4 hits in 2.2 innings. He now owns a record of 1-0. With the victory, the Lake Monsters upped their record to 11-11.
