Niagara Falls first baseman Quinn Wika contributed significantly to his team's 7-4 win over the Youngstown Gremlins. Wika went 4 for 5 with 2 runs scored to lead the offensive attack for the Rapids. Niagara Falls raised its record to 15-4 with the win.

Kiyotaka Matsuo hit a 2-run double off Benny Bates in the bottom of the sixth, which put the Rapids in front, 5-4. In addition to the double, Matsuo had 1 single, while going 2 for 5.

"It never gets old," said Matsuo. "Winning, that is."
