Jamestown Falters Again, Loses, 10-2, to Brooklyn
|
Brooklyn starter Charlie Wieser kept the Jamestown hitters in check, while his team cruised to a win, 10-2. In 8.2 innings, Wieser surrendered 6 hits, while striking out 8 and walking 1. He allowed 2 runs. The misery continues for the Jammers, who have now dropped 12 in a row.
Jeff Moore, who is tied for 8th in the NYP in RBI with 15, contributed to the Brooklyn win with a 3-run home run in the bottom of the fourth. For the game, the catcher had 2 hits in 4 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 4 RBI.
"Same old, same old, unfortunately," said losing manager Carney Davis.
