Spikes Rack Up 7-3 Win Versus West Virginia
Led by Nickson Fecunda, the State College Spikes downed the West Virginia Black Bears, 7-3. Fecunda was 3-5 with a home run and a double. He drove in 4 runs and scored once for the Spikes. The Spikes improved their record to 11-10 with the win over West Virginia.

With State College leading 1-0 in the top of the third, Fecunda hit a fastball from Charlie Dennison for a 2-run double. It was his 3rd double of the season and put the Spikes ahead, 3-0.

"Our approach was just to try to see something over the plate and be aggressive," Fecunda told the State College Today.
