Black Bears Rally Late to Nip Jokers
The West Virginia Black Bears weathered an outstanding game by Atlantic City second baseman Dylan Greer to topple the Jokers, 7-6. Greer went 3-3 with a home run, 2 singles, and was hit by a pitch. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. With the win, West Virginia raised its record to 13-8.

Hunter Pipkins was the walk-off hero for West Virginia. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Black Bears center fielder hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"I don't feel you win baseball games by working harder than the other team or 'wanting it more,'" Pipkins told the West Virginia Daily News. "You win just by scoring more runs."
