The Auburn Doubledays locked up a win at Falcon Park, knocking off the Jamestown Jammers, 4-0. On the mound for Auburn was right-hander Reece DeGennaro. He played a major role in the triumph. DeGennaro picked up the win for Auburn, going 7.1 innings. He gave up no runs on 6 hits. He now sports a record of 2-1. At 11-7, Auburn is in second place in the New York-Penn League North Division.

Auburn first baseman Armen Hayes contributed a timely at-bat in the bottom of the third. With two down, he hit a fastball to right field for a run-scoring single. It was his 17th hit of the season and put the Doubledays ahead, 2-0.

"Not too many highlights on our side," said losing manager Carney Davis.
