Worley Pops Two Homers in 10-7 Win for Staten Island
Led by Ben Worley, the Staten Island Pizza Rats downed the Auburn Doubledays, 10-7. Worley went 2 for 5 with 2 home runs, while adding 5 RBI and scoring twice for the Pizza Rats. Shaun Lai snagged the win in relief. He goes to 2-1 on the season. Jack Richards suffered the loss. The Pizza Rats raised their record to 6-9.

Staten Island needed the clutch hitting of Mitch Caudle to seal the deal. The right fielder swatted a 3-run home run in the top of the ninth inning to put the Pizza Rats on top, 8-7. For the game, Caudle had 1 home run and 2 singles in 5 at-bats.

"We came out with clear minds and swung the bats well," said Staten Island manager Max Collison.
