Aberdeen Keeps Trending in Wrong Direction
The Atlantic City Jokers defeated the Aberdeen Ironbirds, 5-3. Doing his part was left fielder Yonathan Gutiérrez, who went 3 for 4 with 3 singles and a walk. Martin Rodriguez snagged the win in relief. He goes to 2-0 on the season. Jacob Dickerson suffered the loss. Del Castrejon earned the save for Atlantic City, his 5th of the year.

The Jokers got a big at-bat from third baseman Bertrand Lebel. For the game, Lebel was 2-5 with 2 doubles. In the top of the third, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a run-scoring double. His 10th double of the season gave Atlantic City a 1-0 lead.

"This team is doing whatever it takes to win," said Jokers manager Jose Ornelas.
