Kwan Helps Rapids Defeat Jammers, 10-5
Niagara Falls right fielder V.J. Kwan had a 3-RBI performance, which helped his team down the Jamestown Jammers, 10-5. The winning pitcher was Jase Randolph. His record now stands at 1-0. The right-hander went 7 innings, allowing 5 runs on 10 hits for the Rapids. The first-place Rapids go to 13-4.

With Niagara Falls leading 1-0 in the top of the third, Kwan hit a run-scoring single off Jamestown hurler Mike Woosley. It was the 15th hit of the season for Kwan and put his team ahead, 2-0.

"We've got to get out of this funk," said Jamestown manager Carney Davis.
