|
Niagara Falls took on Youngstown in front of a lively crowd.
Niagara Falls Rapids starter T.J. Riggan pitched a strong game against the Youngstown Gremlins at Nat Bailey Stadium, leading the Rapids to victory, 5-3. The loss drops Youngstown to 8-3.
Niagara Falls took control in the bottom of the sixth. With two out and the bases loaded, Yhoan Abreu hit a 2-run single to make it 5-3, Rapids.
"I'm happy we won," said Riggan. "That's first and foremost. My goal is for the team to win the day I pitch, however it's done."
