The Niagara Falls Rapids handed the Brooklyn Cyclones a sound defeat, 13-1, at Nat Bailey Stadium. Johnny Cowan was a main contributor to the win. He went 3 for 5 with a home run and 2 singles. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3 for Niagara Falls. Mark Soriano finished to wrap up his 2nd save. The Cyclones fall to 4-6 and continue their rocky start to the 2059 season.

In the first inning, Cowan had a 2-run home run for Niagara Falls. It was his 1st home run of the season and put the Rapids on top, 2-0.

Brooklyn manager Alberto Creech called the blowout loss "a real bummer."
