Multi-HR Game for Kibler in 9-8 Win
Behind the bravura of first baseman Colt Kibler, the Connecticut Tigers topped the Youngstown Gremlins by the score of 9-8. Kibler belted 2 home runs. He drove in 5 runs and scored twice for the Tigers. Pirro Olivo went 5.1 innings, allowing 4 runs on 8 hits. The right-hander struck out 4 and walked 2. With the win, he's now 1-0 this season. Connecticut, with the win, is 6-3.

With Connecticut leading 3-1 in the top of the second, Kibler hit a fastball from Carter Elder for a 3-run home run. It was his 2nd home run of the season and put the Tigers ahead, 6-1.
