The losses keep piling up for the Lowell Spinners.
Jack Retallick put on a pitching clinic, while helping the Atlantic City Jokers beat the Lowell Spinners, 7-0. The winner was Retallick. He threw 5.1 innings of shutout ball. The loser was Sam Turner. David Jones closed it out for his 1st save.
Who knows how it might've ended, had it not been for Bryson Mandat? The Atlantic City right fielder had a run-scoring double in the top of the first inning to put the Jokers on top, 1-0. For the game, Mandat had 1 double and 2 singles in 4 at-bats.
