Eastwood Field was the site of a tense game between the Youngstown Gremlins and Maine Lobsters.

The Maine Lobsters faced a tough opponent in Youngstown pitcher Luca Yanez, but did just enough to pull out the victory at Eastwood Field by a final score of 3-2. Yanez went 6.1 innings and allowed 3 runs. The winner in relief was Peter Vasquez. The right-hander allowed 1 run on 3 hits in 2.1 innings. He now owns a record of 1-0. Picking up the save was 20-year old left-handed pitcher Alberto Baxter.

It could have been a different outcome for Maine, had it not been for Damon Summers, the 20-year old right fielder . Summers contributed a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the fourth inning to put Maine up, 2-1.

"There's never a lack of effort in our clubhouse. We're willing to do the little things to get the win," Summers told the Maine Bulletin.

The win has Maine at 1-1.
