Barnett Hammers 2 Homers in 15-9 Win
The 2061 season is off to a good start for the Aberdeen Ironbirds. The hometown Ironbirds knocked off the Hamilton Red Wings, 15-9, at Ripken Stadium. Aberdeen first baseman Noel Barnett paced his team to the win.

Aberdeen took the lead, 12-9, on Pat Gilley's 1st double of the season. The 2-run double, which Gilley hit in the bottom of the seventh, made Hamilton pitcher Basilio Sauli wince.

"A great team win and something real positive we can build on," said Gilley after the game.
