Jammers Get 9-6 Win Versus Vermont
|
The Jamestown Jammers defeated the Vermont Lake Monsters, 9-6, at Jammers Ballpark. Leading the charge for Jamestown was right fielder T.J. Webb. He was 1 for 4 with a home run. He scored 2 times and drove in 4. Jaime Alamo got credit for the save for Jamestown. It was his 2nd of the year. The loss drops Vermont to 2-3.
Jamestown grabbed the momentum in the bottom of the fifth, when Webb hit a grand slam home run off Ponziano Soria. His 1st home run of the season put the Jammers out in front, 8-4.
"I keep on showing up every day and trying to put up good at-bats and find good pitches to hit," said Webb.
