The Tri-City ValleyCats ushered in the 2062 season with a win versus the Lowell Spinners at Joseph L. Bruno Stadium. The final score was 8-7, ValleyCats, in 17 innings. First Baseman Jaxon Ucci had a standout performance.

The game was decided with two out in the bottom of the 17th. With Tri-City trailing 7-6, Ucci hit a changeup from Cyril Aguayo for a 2-run single. In the blink of an eye, the ValleyCats had a walk-off win.

"When you think about it," Ucci said, "there's often a fine line between triumph and tragedy. One pitch, one swing of the bat can make all the difference."
