The Youngstown Gremlins topped the Niagara Falls Rapids, 4-3, in New York-Penn League action at Nat Bailey Stadium. The game was highlighted by the performance of Youngstown pitcher Aidan Steck. Youngstown, with the win, is 2-0.

Millard Andresen came through with a big-time hit for Youngstown. The pinch hitter smacked a solo home run in the top of the eighth inning to give his team the lead, 4-3. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.

"If we play well, we'll win our share of games," said Andresen. "The only team that can beat us is us."
