Skidding Marauders Lose 8th Straight
|
The Carolina Mudcats defeated the Bradenton Marauders, 4-3, at Five County Stadium. Carolina catcher David Ladino had a superb performance. He was 3-4 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 times and drove in 2. The losses continue to add up for Bradenton, having now dropped 8 straight.
Hugo Ganganelli was the walk-off hero for Carolina. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Mudcats shortstop hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.
"We've got to kick it in gear soon," said Bradenton manager Mike Victorino.
