Cyr Steals Spotlight, But Last Laugh Belongs to Bradenton
Despite a fine performance by shortstop A.J. Cyr, the Frederick Keys lost to the Bradenton Marauders, 9-7. Cyr was 4-5 with a home run, a double, and 2 singles. He scored 2 times and drove in 3. Bradenton now owns a record of 40-50.

Bradenton first baseman Conan Bonilla contributed a timely at-bat in the bottom of the seventh. With two down, he hit a cutter to left field for a 2-run single. It was his 15th hit of the season and put the Marauders ahead, 9-5.

"Some wins are easy and some are difficult, but either way we come to the ballpark ready to work hard every day," Bonilla told the Bradenton Citizen.
