Getting an impressive start from Jay Bungert, Winston-Salem beat Traverse City by the score of 2-0. Winston-Salem now sits in third place in the East Coast League Mideast Division at 50-40.

Bungert, who was born in El Paso, Texas, threw 92 pitches over 7.2 innings, while allowing no runs.

"For the most part, I stayed out of the middle of the plate," Bungert said.
