Blue Jays Rally Late to Nip Mudcats
Carolina designated hitter Ernesto Matos pounded Dunedin Blue Jays pitchers at Florida Auto Exchange Stadium, but it was not enough to keep the Mudcats from falling, 9-8. Matos went 4 for 5 with 2 home runs and 2 singles. He scored 3 runs and drove in 4. Carolina has now lost 5 consecutive games.

The decisive blow was delivered by Richie Camareno in the bottom of the ninth when he hit a 3-run home run off 23-year old right-handed pitcher Conner Ferguson to win the game for Dunedin. The home crowd went nuts.

"Great to get the crowd on its feet," Camareno said.
