Renegades Stop Blue Jays, 6-3
|
Hudson Valley and Dunedin duked it out and the Renegades came out victorious.
Jason Brantner Jr. had a good game, but he could not keep the Dunedin Blue Jays from falling, 6-3, to the Hudson Valley Renegades at Florida Auto Exchange Stadium. The Dunedin second baseman was 4-5 with 2 doubles and 2 singles in the loss. Eric Stodola closed it out for his 4th save.
The Renegades got a big at-bat from designated hitter Jason Estrada. For the game, Estrada was 2-5 with 2 doubles, while adding 2 RBI. In the top of the third, with the bases loaded, he stroked a 2-run double. His 20th double of the season gave Hudson Valley a 2-0 lead.
Estrada said his team "played with determination."
Hudson Valley is now 51-36, Dunedin 47-40.
