Renegades Take Down Dash, 4-3
|
Hudson Valley pitcher Mike Peck did his part in helping his team beat the Winston-Salem Dash, 4-3. The left-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. The Renegades bumped their record to 48-34 with this latest triumph.
The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the tenth inning, when Hudson Valley pinch hitter Verrell Aburto, facing Lawler Cordoba, had a run-scoring walk. It gave the Renegades the 4-3 win.
"No one can call baseball boring," said Renegades manager Bentley Love. "Not after a game like that."
