Renegades Win at Bradenton, 10-3
|
Hudson Valley designated hitter Jason Estrada contributed to his team's 10-3 win over the Bradenton Marauders. Estrada, who is tied for 9th in the ECL in bases on balls with 45, went 3 for 4 with 2 runs scored to lead the offensive attack for the Renegades. Owen Prewitt, the winning pitcher, improved to 4-1. He pitched 7 innings, giving up 7 hits and 2 runs, while striking out 1 and walking 0. The win elevated the Renegades to 47-32.
Hudson Valley relied on the bat of Gregory Dang to get the win. The center fielder ripped a 2-run triple in the top of the third inning to put the Renegades ahead, 4-0. For the game, Dang had 1 double and 1 triple in 5 at-bats.
"I still think this team can play even better," Dang told the Hudson Valley Citizen.
