Renegades, Rueger Pin Bad Loss on Owls
No one was more impactful than Max Rueger in the 10-0 Hudson Valley win over Oxford. Rueger, who is tied for 2nd in the ECL with a .447 on-base percentage, was 4-4 with 2 home runs and a double, while scoring 3 and driving in 6. Hudson Valley is now 41-34.

With Hudson Valley leading 7-0 in the bottom of the seventh, Rueger came up to bat against Oxford pitcher Connor O'Sullivan. Rueger hit a fastball to right-center for a 3-run home run. His 7th home run of the season put the Renegades on top, 10-0.

"It was a tough day, no getting around it," said losing manager Yasel Pimentel.
