Mudcats Knock Off Stone Crabs at Five County Stadium
Luke Crawford had a hand in Carolina defeating Charlotte by the score of 7-4. Crawford went 4 for 4 at the plate, scoring 1 times and driving in 2 runs. Carolina reliever Maxwell Sayers snagged the win, upping his record to 3-1. Zeke Brooks shouldered the loss. Mike Ooba earned the save for Carolina, his 3rd.

Boise, Idaho-born Graham Lindsay came through in the clutch. In the bottom of the eighth, with runners on 2nd and 3rd and the Mudcats trailing 4-3, he hit a 2-run single to right-center to put Carolina on top.

"We're producers not directors," said Crawford. "Produce a good swing. Can't direct where it goes."

The win makes Carolina 28-27.
