Thanks in large part to left fielder Chase Judge, the St. Lucie Mets beat the Winston-Salem Dash, 7-5. Judge went 2 for 5 with a home run. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. The win went to Izaiah Pearson in relief, making him now 2-0. Jon Serrano took the loss for Winston-Salem. Lee Dalbey recorded his 8th save for St. Lucie.

Who knows how it might've ended, had it not been for A.J. Gengler? The St. Lucie third baseman had a bases-clearing double in the top of the fifth inning to put the Mets on top, 6-2. For the game, Gengler had 1 double and 1 single in 4 at-bats.

Gengler told the St. Lucie Citizen: "Win or lose, I don't want to see our team outhustled."

The Mets saw their win-loss record go to 30-20. At the same time, the Dash fell to 30-20.
