The Hudson Valley Renegades downed the Lynchburg Hillcats, 6-0, at George M. Steinbrenner Field. Dan Allen led the way, going 1-for-4 for Hudson Valley. Hudson Valley, at 23-12, occupies second place in the East Coast League Mideast Division.

Hudson Valley grabbed the momentum in the bottom of the fifth, when Allen hit a 2-run home run off Alfredo Olmedo. His 7th home run of the season put the Renegades out in front, 2-0.

"We're producers not directors," said Allen. "Produce a good swing. Can't direct where it goes."
