Mets Win with Late Rally
The St. Lucie Mets finished things off in style.

Lakeland got a big-time effort from pitcher Drake Brezin, but it wasn't enough to keep the St. Lucie Mets from winning the game, 4-3. Brezin threw 7.0 innings of shutout ball for the losing team. The Mets now own a record of 17-19.

The decisive blow was delivered by Sammy Singer in the bottom of the 12th when he hit a solo home run off 21-year old right-handed pitcher Brandon Domingue to win the game for St. Lucie. The home crowd went nuts.

"It's good to win," Singer told the St. Lucie Chronicle. "I like to have fun doing it."
