Bissambhar Goes Deep Twice in 4-2 Mariners Win
Both teams had their opportunities, but in the end, the Virginia Beach Mariners got the win.

The exploits of right fielder Noah Bissambhar helped the Virginia Beach Mariners defeat the St. Lucie Mets, 4-2. Bissambhar belted 2 home runs. Keshawn Williams picked up the win in relief. His record improves to 3-1. Giovanni Fredericksen suffered the loss.

Virginia Beach used the timely hitting of Damian Folkman to seize the win. The shortstop stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the eighth inning to put the Mariners on top, 4-2. It was his only hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

Virginia Beach manager Alex Salcedo praised his team's "energy."

The 4th-place Mariners are 16-14.
