The Frederick Keys finished off the Traverse City Pit Spitters, 7-2. Much of the credit belonged to designated hitter Vishnu Kamesh. Kamesh went 2 for 3 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once for the Keys. Bruce Jones earned the win for Frederick. He lasted 7.2 innings, allowing 2 runs on 6 hits, while striking out 2. With the win, he raised his record to 2-3. The win puts the Keys at 16-13, while the Pit Spitters drop to 13-16.

With Frederick trailing 2-1 in the bottom of the third, Kamesh hit a slider from Angel Leal for a 3-run home run. It was his 3rd home run of the season and put the Keys ahead, 4-2.

"Winning never gets dull," said Kamesh.
