Dash Notch 5-2 Win Versus Pit Spitters
|
Soggy conditions did not keep Winston-Salem and Traverse City from playing their scheduled game.
Riding the 3-hit performance of the 24-year old third baseman Lian Bautista, the Winston-Salem Dash stopped the Traverse City Pit Spitters, 5-2. The Dash sit in third place in the East Coast League Mideast Division with a record of 16-13.
Making an impact for the home team was C.J. Bracken. In the bottom of the second, the 25-year old left fielder had a run-scoring walk. That made the score 3-1, Dash.
"I still think this team can play even better," Bracken told the Winston-Salem Observer.
