Stark gets 4 RBI to Ignite Dash Offense
|
Keyon Stark was a major contributor to the 11-5 Winston-Salem win over Virginia Beach. The Dash left fielder went 2 for 3 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 4. Adrien Helzer was the winning pitcher. Over 5 innings, he allowed 3 runs on 4 hits, with 2 walks and 3 strikeouts. The loss puts Virginia Beach at 14-5.
Stark contributed a big hit, a 3-run home run, for Winston-Salem in the bottom of the fourth. With his team trailing 3-2, Stark took a fastball from Gavin Gavina and stroked the home run to right. His 1st home run of the season allowed the Dash to leap in front, 5-3.
