Mets Tuck Away 5-2 Win Over Dunedin
|
The St. Lucie Mets picked up a win at Tradition Field, knocking off the Dunedin Blue Jays, 5-2. On the mound for St. Lucie was right-hander Jody LeBlanc. He played a key role in the triumph. The Mets, at 11-3, have a record worth crowing about.
With one out in the bottom of the fifth, Todd Bruno put St. Lucie in front, 2-0, with a 2-run single. The Mets went on to win the ballgame.
"Even warm beer tastes good after a win," said LeBlanc.
