Dash Score Late to Beat Marauders, 3-2

Both teams had their chances, but the Winston-Salem Dash eventually prevailed.
The Winston-Salem Dash knocked off the Bradenton Marauders, 3-2, in East Coast League action at LECOM Park. Winston-Salem pitcher and St. Petersburg, Florida, native James Rosen had an outstanding performance. Winston-Salem, now 11-3, is playing great baseball to start the year.
Winston-Salem took a 3-2 lead on Thomas Richards's 2nd home run of the season. The solo home run, which Richards hit in the top of the eighth, left Bradenton pitcher Connor Gilmartin visibly frustrated.
"Getting ahead of the hitters was the key," said Rosen.
