Marauders Tag Renegades with 7-5 Loss
|
Ahmad Soares did all he could to help his team win. In the end, though, it wasn't enough to keep the Hudson Valley Renegades from losing, 7-5, to the Bradenton Marauders at George M. Steinbrenner Field. Soares was 3-4 with a home run and 2 singles, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. With the loss, Hudson Valley drops to 6-5.
Tracy Dyer, the 22-year old center fielder , had a direct impact on the outcome. Dyer contributed a run-scoring double in the top of the third inning to put Bradenton up, 3-0.
"It was our day today," Dyer told the Bradenton Citizen. "But we've got to keep our nose to the grindstone."
