JetHawks Knock Off San Jose, 4-2

Baseball fans saw a good contest between the Lancaster JetHawks and San Jose Giants.
Lancaster JetHawks starter Eduardo Guerra hurled his team past the San Jose Giants, 4-2. Guerra got the win, improving to 5-11. He gave up 8 hits and walked 1 over 7 innings. He allowed 2 runs. Picking up the save was fireballing right-hander Jimmy Black.
The JetHawks got a big at-bat from center fielder Dan Gamble. For the game, Gamble went 1-5 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. In the top of the third, with a runner on 2nd, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 8th home run of the season gave Lancaster a 2-0 lead.
"It's nice to get the results when you're feeling good and throwing the ball well," said Guerra after the game.
With the win over San Jose, the JetHawks improved to 62-73.
