Cordell Swanger imposed his will on the Silverados from the get-go. Relying mainly on his fastball, the right-hander spearheaded the 4-1 Visalia triumph. With the win, the Rawhide are 34-96.

Who knows how it might've ended, had it not been for Gabe Gluck? The Visalia designated hitter had a 2-run double in the top of the second inning to put the Rawhide on top, 3-1. For the game, Gluck had 1 double and 1 single in 5 at-bats.

"Cordell had good stuff. When he did get into a compromising count, he made the most of it," said Visalia manager Anthony Pizarro.
