The Martinez Clippers picked up a win at Recreation Park, topping the Bakersfield Blaze, 5-3. On the mound for Martinez was left-hander Greg Parenteau. He played a principal role in the triumph. Martinez is now 48-78. Bakersfield is 68-58.
